In the early days of robot construction, Lego bricks were mainly used for learning. Children are 3 to 6 years old. They mainly study the understanding and expression of common sense of life, the construction of building blocks, and the understanding and application of mechanical knowledge related to life. In the early stage, we need to cooperate with Lego tall granular building blocks and teaching tools such as wheels, shafts, levers and gears for teaching. In the first to sixth grades, Vedor, NEX, EV3 and other devices are used to program and empower their own robots.
Enlightenment stage-interest cultivation
Bricklaying class? This is what most children play when they first come into contact with Lego. We usually buy a lot of theme blocks for children, or bulk barrels are of this type. Children can follow the instructions step by step or create by their own imagination.
Initial stage-interest guidance
Mechanical structure class? After the brick building matures, children can gradually contact with mechanical buildings, which will use wheels, gears, beams, bolts, motors, controllers and other devices. We usually buy cars, trains, planes, transformers and other theme building blocks for children, or special technology building blocks are of this type.
Mid-term-basic learning
Lego brainstorming Lego brainstorming is based on bricks and machinery, combined with programming control. For example, the arm of a Lego excavator can be driven by a motor through gears, which is a mechanical structure. But if it can also be connected to a computer program and make it automatically dig some soil from the designated point A and move it to point B, then it is a robot.
Learning Lego thinking storm includes learning basic programming. But programming is only a part of Lego mindstorms, which can be said to be a relatively simple part and belongs to basic programming.
Later period-professional study
If you want to cultivate your child's programming ability, I suggest you specialize in programming. Playing high robots may usually only spend about 30% of the time on programming, which is generally not very deep.
