Liang Shaozong graduated from the Wushu Department of Beijing Sport University with a bachelor's degree and was born in a martial arts family. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee of Dengfeng Municipal People's Congress in Zhengzhou.
Deputy to the National People's Congress and member of Zhengzhou Youth Federation. He has successively won the honorary titles of "May 1st" Labor Medal, Top Ten Outstanding Young People in Dengfeng City and Top-notch Professional and Technical Talents in Dengfeng City.
After being the president of Shaolin Epo Wushu College, Comrade Liang Shaozong dared to innovate and explore, overcome all kinds of difficulties and tried his best to raise funds. He founded a comprehensive military and civilian vocational school that can accommodate more than 6,000 students to study, train, live, entertain and educate children at the same time. The school has grown from the initial 200 students to the current 6,000 students, with nearly 100 foreign students. Wushu teaching has also developed from a single Shaolin Wushu routine teaching in the past to a comprehensive project of integrating routines, Sanda, Taekwondo, wrestling and boxing.
In the process of establishing the school, he used his rich knowledge of martial arts theory and practical experience, and under the guidance of his father, he compiled martial arts books such as Shaolin Wushu Textbook and Shaolin Treasure. He sent outstanding students to form a Shaolin Wushu performance troupe and went to Europe, Southeast Asia, North America, South America, Oceania and other more than 60 countries and regions to exchange performances, which made his own contribution to Shaolin Wushu going abroad and going global. The school troupe also performed tens of thousands of performances for visiting groups, tour groups and leaders at all levels from all over the country. At the same time, the troupe went to Shanghai, Nanjing, Xi, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Dalian, Nanning and other places to perform more than 200 performances, which received good results and contributed to attracting investment, promoting tourism and revitalizing Henan's economy!
Since 1999, under the leadership of Dean Liang Shaozong, the college has been successively named as "Top Ten Units for Professional Ethics Construction", "Top Ten Wushu Schools in Henan Province", "Outstanding Contribution Award for Wushu Work in Henan Province", "National Advanced Wushu School", "National Top Ten Wushu Schools" and "National Youth Wushu Club" by the Propaganda Department of Zhengzhou Municipal Committee, Provincial Sports Bureau and Wushu Management Center of the State General Administration of Sport.
