Zhangshu Administrative Village was once named Zhangshuzi. It is 32.2 kilometers southwest of Puning City. It consists of 8 natural villages: Dahuli, Fengshupai, Rengongtian, Kengweizai, Zhangshuzai, Datangkeng, Aobei and Xinzhaizai. The population is 18 14. In the early Qing Dynasty, Fujian immigrants moved here to settle down, because there was a big camphor tree next to the Shuikou stone in the village, and it was named after four people couldn't get through. Settlements are distributed in blocks. There are 638 mu of cultivated land and 8280 mu of mountainous area. Agriculture mainly grows rice and sweet potatoes. Rich in pineapple, it is one of the main pineapple production villages in this town. During the Great Revolution, Gu Da existed here to establish the Red Guards, establish the Soviet regime and lead the agrarian revolution. At that time, there were more than 300 people in the main village and they were looted 23 times by the Kuomintang army. Many villagers were killed or left their homes. By 1943, there were only 60 people in the village. Belongs to the old revolutionary base areas. After liberation, roads led to Puchuan Town, and power stations and schools were also built.
