Hanbei Tzu Chi Central Primary School is a newly-built public primary school in Yaoqiao area, which belongs to Yucheng District Education Bureau. It was completed and put into use in September 20 15. There are two classes of students studying at present.
For a long time, Hanbei Tzu Chi Primary School has attached great importance to safety education, integrated the knowledge of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction into daily teaching and management, conducted regular earthquake emergency drills, developed safety education courseware, made earthquake early warning teaching AIDS, built an earthquake safety experience room, organized students to participate in earthquake popular science games, and took gesture operation of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction as the theme during classes, thus comprehensively improving teachers and students' awareness of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction and their ability of emergency avoidance and self-rescue. The popularization of scientific knowledge of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction has been fully affirmed by all walks of life, and it has been named "Sichuan Province Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction Science Year".
