How do pupils distinguish figurative sentences from anthropomorphic sentences?

A figurative sentence is a metaphor. There must be two similar things in one sentence. For example:

1 Sister's face is like a red apple.

The morning sun is like a red lantern.

Dad is 1.9 meters tall, like a giant.

An anthropomorphic sentence is to compare something with a person, or to write something as a person. For example:

1 Hua nodded to me.

Birds dance for me.

When the sun came out, the moon went home.

Butterflies are dancing among the flowers.
